The Brownie Camera

1. What is a Brownie Camera?
A brownie camera was a small black rectangular box that takes snapshots. To take a picture you had to hold the camera at waist level, aim it, and flip a switch.
2. Who invented it?
The Eastman Kodak company invented the new point-and-shoot brownie camera.
3. How did it change society, and of course, the photography world?
Everybody was able to use the camera instead of just professionals. Everyone could now take pictures of birthday parties and family events.
